Which system suits Eau Claire
We install full-flake epoxy and full-flake polyurea and we don't have a house favorite. What tips it one way or the other is usually local.
Deeper frost is why polyurea comes up more often in this conversation than it does further south — a flexible film moves with a slab that's working, where a rigid one has to resist it. That said, plenty of Chippewa Valley slabs sit perfectly still, and epoxy is the better value on those.

Usually, yes. Cracks, spalls and control joints get filled and shaped before any coating goes down — coating straight over an unrepaired crack just telegraphs it back through the finish. What we can't fix is a slab that's actively failing, and if that's what we find we'll say so at the quote rather than take the job.
